In 2013 the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) had intention to develop the Jeddah industrial Area 1 in which the EMCO group of companies was awarded the design, manufacturing, installation and startup of the wastewater treatment plant with capacity 250 000 m3/d.

EMO, was entrusted by EMCO group to design, manufacture, and delivery as well as commission a 550 m3/h capacity DAF system including peripheral equipment. The main criterion was that the unit have to be completely compact, with the highest efficiency ever, the shortest delivery time with no compromising on the quality of the work.
